Resorts World Arena is at the National Exhibition Centre in Solihull (near Birmingham). It has had various names and sponsors since it opened in 1980. Genting Arena mostly recently.
The Pendigo Lake is located at the National Exhibition Centre (Birmingham NEC). It is near Resorts World Birmingham, Resorts World Arena, and faces the exteriors of Halls 1 and 5.
The National Exhibition Centre (also called The NEC) is located in Marston Green, Solihull. It opened in 1976. Over the years it has been expanded and now has 20 interconnected halls.
The Manor House on the Solihull High Street was built in 1495 by the Greswold family. It was saved by public subscription in 1945. The house is a Grade II* listed building.
116 - 120 High Street in Solihull is a timber-framed Tudor, Grade II listed building dating from 1571 with changes in 1845 and 1924. Now part of the Touchwood shopping centre.
Golden Jubilee Gardens is situated at Homer Road in Solihull at the back of the Touchwood shopping centre. It was named after the Queens Golden Jubilee of 2002.
Brueton Gardens is situated in Solihull on the Warwick Road. They were presented to Solihull by Councillor Horace J. Brueton in July 1938. The clock here dates to 1964.
Located outside of Olton Station on Station Drive is sculptor John McKenna's Saxon King on Horse. It is on top of the Olton Interchange. Made in the early 2000s.
Between Touchwood and the Solihull Council House is Manor Square. Probably named after The Solihull Manor House. Manor Walk leads to the High Street from Manor Square.
Theatre Square (formerly Library Square) is outside of the Touchwood Shopping Centre and The Core Theatre & Library in Solihull (formerly Solihull Arts Complex and Central Library).
If arriving at Birmingham Airport by car, bus or coach, you will probably pass a sculpture called Take Off by the artist Walenty Pytel. It is in the middle of Bird Island, Airport Way.
The bronze Family Outing statue was made in 1985 by John Ravera F.R.B.S, and probably installed during the 1987-88 refurbishment of Mell Square in Solihull.
Mell Square is the main shopping square in Solihull Town Centre. Named after the Town Clerk (1946-65), William Maurice Mell (1908-65) in his honour in 1966. Square refurbished in 1980s.
NEC Urban Village is an ambitious masterplan to create up to 5,000 new homes, create 3,500 new jobs, and provide commercial, events space, and a primary school - all located on the NEC Campus.

Tudor Grange is a large suburban house in Solihull, next to Solihull College on the Blossomfield Road. It was built in 1887 for Alfred Lovekin and later home of Sir Alfred Bird.
Packwood House is a National Trust property in Warwickshire, close to Lapworth and Solihull. They bought it from the Ash family in 1941. A Grade I listed building with gardens.
Baddesley Clinton is a National Trust property in Warwickshire. A moated manor house with gardens, with origins in the 13th century. Was home of the Brome and later Ferrers family.
It is only possible to see Olton Reservoir from the train, there is no access to members of the public and impossible to see it from the Warwick Road. Built 1799 to supply water to Grand Union
The Akamba Heritage Centre is situated on Tythe Barn Lane in Dickens Heath, Solihull. Featuring metal animal sculptures from the jungle. It is also a garden centre.
The Kingfisher Country Park is situated in East Birmingham and part of Solihull. Starts at the Coventry Road in Hay Mills and runs all the way to Chelmsley Wood.

Castle Bromwich Hall Gardens is located in Castle Bromwich, Solihull. It is near Castle Bromwich Hall.
Green Lane Park is in Solihull near Shirley. Also called the Colebrook Recreation Ground. It was formerly called Mill Lodge Park.
